Justin Bieber Has Sold 4 Million Albums In Less An Year
JUSTIN Bieber has shifted 4 million albums worldwide in less than a year.
The Baby singer, 16, has sold 3.2 million copies of his My World (released last November) and My World 2.0 (March) in the US, according the New York Post, citing data from Nielsen SoundScan.
Bieber — who sold out New York’s Madison Square Garden the other night — is also enjoying success online, with a whopping 7.7 million songs digitally downloaded.
“Madison Square Garden was a big milestone,” said Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun.
“Justin is a kid who grew up in public housing with a single mom. He always said selling out the Garden was his dream.
“It’s a real rags-to-riches story, and shows where Justin came from and the hard work that got him to where he is now.”
Bieber recently revealed he wants to be a judge on the American version of The X Factor.
“I think Simon Cowell is great.” he said.
“The X Factor is coming to the US and I would love to do a guest judging slot. But some people might not like getting advice from a guy my age.”
